About GreenLamp
GreenLamp is a nonprofit organisation whose vision is to bring a bright future for women
and their communities in rural Ethiopia. Our projects are initiated and supported with
local partners to create equal opportunities for Ethiopian women.

We provide midwifery scholarships to Ethiopian women, sustainable solar installations for
rural health centres, leadership and career opportunities through our holistic community
program. Our three pillars — Learn, Light and Lead — are creating real, lasting change
and we need you to help us grow.

Fundraising Volunteer
Want to use your skills create real social impact?
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building connections,
researching opportunities, and helping shape a developing function within a mission-
driven organisation.

At GreenLamp, we believe strong partnerships and sustainable fundraising are essential to
expanding our impact. We are looking for a proactive, relationship-focused volunteer to
help us grow and strengthen our fundraising activities in Switzerland.

What you will do

• Support the development of GreenLamp’s fundraising activities and donor outreach

• Identify and research potential donors, partners, and Corporate Social

Responsibility (CSR) collaboration opportunities

• Build and maintain relationships with humanitarian organisations, companies, and

community stakeholders

• Assist with developing fundraising strategies and targeted activity plans

• Follow up on leads and help coordinate outreach efforts

• Contribute ideas for campaigns, donor engagement, and fundraising

communications

• Help shape the future direction of the role and fundraising approach

What we are looking for

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Experience or interest in customer relations, partnerships, fundraising or CSR

programs and Foundations

• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently

• Interest in nonprofit work and social impact

• Experience in communications, marketing, sales, stakeholder engagement or

community work is a plus

• Comfortable in conducting research and following up on opportunities, including

funding applications throughout Switzerland

• We communicate in English, but German and or French at a business level would

also be helpful

Events Volunteers
Want to help create inspiring events for GreenLamp?
GreenLamp is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Events Volunteers to lead and
support the planning and delivery of impactful community and fundraising events in
Switzerland.

These roles is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, teamwork, and creating
engaging experiences. You will have the opportunity to help shape events from concept to
execution while working alongside a passionate and supportive team.

What you will do

• Lead or be part of a volunteer events team

• Contribute ideas for event concepts, themes, and audience engagement

• Support or manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of GreenLamp events

• Organise logistics, scheduling, ticketing, and event communications

• Lead/Assist with outreach to partners, sponsors, and attendees

• Coordinate with venues, suppliers, and sponsors where required

• Support the successful execution of a series of key events per year (up to five)

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Existing networks or connections in Switzerland are highly valued

• Feel comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment

• Proactive, dependable, and solution-oriented

• Experience/willingness to work with event campaign platforms, social media,

ticketing platforms, event logistics, or sponsor coordination is essential

• Passion for community engagement and social impact
