«Social Media / Digital Communications Manager»
MYBLUEPLANET is a non-profit, independent Swiss climate protection organization. It
develops concrete measures for climate protection in everyday life and communicates
the message that each individual can contribute to climate protection. MYBLUEPLANET
has the goal of getting people excited about climate protection in line with the motto:

Your profile
Are concerned about the Climate Crisis? Do you want to take action to address it? Are
able to organise yourself well and work efficiently? Do you feel at home in the social
networks and like to develop new formats? Then maybe you are our new Social Media
Manager?
Specific Tasks
• Draft, edit and post on MYBLUEPLANET’s social media channels, coordinating with
the communications team in the main HUB in Winterthur HUB.
• Support the creation of and manage MYBLUEPLANET social media and digital
communication campaigns related to the Romande Hub.
• Support the communication processes of MYBLUEPLANET’s platforms, initiatives,
and communities.
• Provide timely HUB-related content to the Editor of the MYBLUEPLANET
newsletter.
• Track and report on social media efforts of MYBLUEPLANET.
Requirements
• French mother tongue with strong grasp of oral and written German. Conversant
in English.
• Great interest and knowledge in digital communications with awareness of climate
and energy issues.
• Work experience in creating and managing social media campaigns, community
engagement and digital communications.
• Personal initiative and great motivation.
• Swiss or EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland at the time of
application is a pre-requisite.
Workload & Place of work
• Let us know where your strengths lie and take over an area in the social media
team.
• This is a ‘work from home’ post.
• You will be in contact with the other volunteers of the hub as well as with the
person responsible for communication in Winterthur.
